A BURNING car caused traffic disruption on Trent Bridge this morning.

Notts Fire and Rescue Services received reports of a car on fire at around 8.40am today.

A fire crew from West Bridgford fire station was sent out to the car which had caught fire just outside the Riverbank restaurant.

Police closed two lanes going towards the city centre, but the road is now fully open again.
