A TRAIN wagon could have injured members of the public after it rolled more than 200 feet because its brakes were let off.

The wagon at Thoresby Colliery Sidings in Edwinstowe damaged train tracks and derailed after the incident on November 10. It happened just two weeks after another railway wagon's brakes were let off at Welbeck Colliery Junction in Warsop.

British Transport Police is investigating both incidents.
