THE mum of a nine-year-old with a brain tumour is holding a charity Hallowe'en Ball.

Tracey Crosby's son Thomas, from Mansfield, was diagnosed with the tumour six years ago.

He is in good health now after two operations.

The ball is at The Intake in Kirkland Avenue, Mansfield, on October 24, at 6.30pm, in aid of the University of Nottingham's Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre. Admission is £5 – fancy dress is optional.

Tickets are available on 01623 450022 after 6pm. Donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/tumours.
