WYMESWOLD'S Jack Hayes is making a real name for himself in the South Notts League.

The off-spinner was only 12 when he hit the headlines last summer, taking 7-27 in their victory over Division R leaders Hoveringham seconds.

Last weekend against Shepshed he took 6-20 to add to his 6-33 against Notts Unity.

Hayes only turned 14 last month and boasts 26 wickets from just seven games for Wymeswold's seconds this season, at an average of 7.08.
