BOOTS workers were among many staff in Notts due to come together for a major Children in Need fund-raiser today.

This year's festivities at Boots' head office in Beeston mark the ninth year that Boots UK has supported BBC Children in Need, raising £4.8 million to date.

Activities planned include a Top Gear-style challenge where three Boots workers will set off for Pudsey, in Leeds, at 9am travelling by car, bike, and public transport.

People can place their bets for who they think will win.
