Bookmaker's robber caught on camera

POLICE hunting three men who robbed a bookmaker's in Calverton have released CCTV pictures of one of the suspects.

The robbery happened on Wednesday, February 6, at 7.20pm when three men in dark-coloured balaclavas entered Coral Bookmakers, in St Wilfrid's Square.

Two women working in the shop were threatened with a knife before cash was stolen. No one was injured.

The suspects fled in what is believed to be a small silver car.

The pictured man, in grey tracksuit bottoms, black sweatshirt and white trainers, is slim and around 5ft 9ins tall. Another robber was wearing a dark top and was slightly shorter.

A third offender is described as chubby.
