Stapleford: A betting shop has donated £2,000 to the Nottingham University Hospitals Charity after a customer was treated for cancer.

Staff at Ladbrokes in Derby Road, Stapleford, raised almost £1,000 through raffles and sweepstakes, and had the total doubled by the company as part of a match-giving scheme. The money will go to the charity's prostate cancer appeal. Visit www.nuhcharity.org.uk for details.
