WE have put together a list of bonfire and firework displays being held across the area this weekend.
BEESTON

Beeston's bonfire and fireworks bash at Beeston Hockey Club will be held on Sunday 6th November at Highfireld Sports Club. Entry is £5 for adults and £3 for children under 16. Click here for more information.
CARLTON
4th Carlton Scout group will be organising a bonfire and fireworks display from 7pm on Saturday 5th November at Standhill road park (also known as King George 5th park). The fire will be lit at 7.15pm with the fireworks at 8pm. Entrance is £4 for adults, £2 for children and £10 for a family of two adults and two children. Refreshments will be available. CLIFTON
Clifton All Whites Footballl Club will be hold its annual Bonfire and Fireworks display on Saturday 5th Novemeber at the Norman Archer Memorial Ground on Greenlane. Entrance is £1.00 per person, with gates open at 6.30pm. There will be food and drinks on sale.
COSSALL
The Gardeners Inn in Cossall will hold a fireworks display on Saturday 5th November 2011 from 7.30pm-10pm. The event is organised by Awsworth Community Association and The Gardeners Inn and will feature a firework display, hot food and refreshments, live entertainment and music. This is a free event but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds will go towards Awsworths Party on the Rec 2012. COTGRAVE
A free firework display will be held at Cotgrave Welfare on Saturday 5th November. Gates open at 7.00pm and fireworks start at 7.30pm, followed by a free family night in the hall. Snack bar, licensed bar. Accompanied children only.
EASTWOOD
Eastwood Town Cricket Club, at The Breach, Greenhills Road, Eastwood, will host its annual Bonfire and Fireworks event on Saturday 5 November. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm with fireworks to follow at 8.30pm. Food & refreshments available. Admission is £1 for adults and 50p for children.
Keyworth
Keyworth Rugby Club's bonfire and fireworks will be held at their Willoughby Road ground in Widmerpool on Friday 4th November. Gates open 6.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 7.00pm, and the fireworks display will be at 7.30pm. There will be food & and a bar, a warm dry clubhouse, and free parking. Entry is £4 for adults, £2 for under 18s and free for pre-schoolers.
LONG EATON
Erewash Borough Council's annual bonfire and fireworks display in Long Eaton will take place on Friday 4th November at West Park. Family tickets for two adults and three children are £9.50 in advance or £12.50 on the night. Adult tickets are £3.90 in advance or £5 at the gate, and over-60s and under-16s can buy tickets for £1.70. Admission for under-5s is free. Advance tickets can be bought from at West Park Leisure Centre or at Ilkeston and Long Eaton town halls. More information can be found on the council's website.
MANSFIELD
The firework display at Mansfield Town FC's Field Mill ground will be held on Sunday 6th November at 6.30pm. Gates open at 4.30pm and tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. After the fireworks 101 blue and yellow sky lanterns will be launched. There is no parking available at the ground.
MAPPERLEY
The Friends of Coppice Park will be holding their annual free firework display on Friday 4th November from 6.30pm to 9pm, in association with First Galaxy Fireworks and Nottingham City Council. Light refreshments will also be served, with limited on street parking nearby. Access to Coppice Park is off Ransom Road.
NOTTINGHAM - FOREST RECREATION GROUND
Nottingham City Council will be holding its annual free Bonfire Night celebration at the Forest Recreation Ground on Saturday 5th November, with the bonfire lit at 7.45pm and the fireworks at 9pm. Click here for more information.
NOTTINGHAM CASTLE
The NRSB will hold its annual Charity Fireworks Display at Nottingham Castle on Saturday November 5th. The gates open at 7.30pm and fireworks will be at 9.30pm. There is also a Sponsored ‘Firewalk’ to raise money for the charity along with Fire performers, live music and a licensed bar provided by Castle Rock Brewery.
Tickets are £10 for adults, £7 for concessions, £4 for under-16s and £25 for a family ticket.

OXTON
Oxton's Bonfire Night celebration will be held on 5th November at the Village Hall on Main Street.
From 6pm, youngsters are invited to bring along their best jack-o’-lanterns (carved pumpkin) to be entered into a competition to win a cash prize of either £20, £10 or £5.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and will be followed by entertainment from the Unique World drummers, Halloween stilt walkers and fire and light jugglers, with a 20-minute firework display to follow 7.30pm.
Earlier in the day youngsters will have the chance to get into the Bonfire Night mood early by taking part in a lantern-making master class in the Village Hall from 10am until 12.30, led by artist Jess Kemp, at a cost of £10 each. Children who take part will gain free entry to the evening event.
Tickets for the evening celebration are £5 for adults and £3 for children, with all money raised goes to help fund the Village Hall. Hot food and drink will be available.
RISLEY
Long Eaton Round Table are returning to Treetops Hospice on Derby Road in Risley with their charity firework displayw on 4th November. Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, and fireworks start at 7.30pm. Adults £4, children £2. All proceeds will go to local charities including Treetops. Refreshments on sale include burgers, hot dogs, mushy peas and hot and cold drinks. Children fairground rides.
RUDDINGTON
The 'bonfire night spectacular' at the Great Central Railway in Ruddington will be held on Saturday 5th November from 5.30pm. The fireworks begin at 7.30pm. Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for kids. Phone 0115 940 5705 for more information.
STAPLEFORD
A bonfire and fireworks display will be held at the George Spencer Academy site on 5th November. The event, organised by Stapleford Fire Station in conjunction with the school, will feature fireworks and laser light displays at 7pm and 7.45pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, and hot food and drinks will be available. Advance tickets can be bought from the George Spencer Academy, Bramcote Farm Shop or the Sherwin arms pub, and are picred at £2 for adults, £1 for children and £5 for a family of two adults and two children. Tickets on the night are £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for children.
UNDERWOOD
Underwood Villa Football Club is holding a firework and bonfire display on Saturday 5th November at Bracken Park, on Felley Mill Lane North.
Advance tickets are £2.50 for adults, £1 for children and £6 for families. Tickets on the night are £3.50 for adults, £2 for children and £8 for families. Gates open at 5:30pm, the bonfire is lit at 6:30pm and fireworks are at 7:00pm. For further information call: 0800 002 96 76 Or visit www.underwoodvilla.co.uk. WARSOP
The Shine Community Bonfire will be held at the Adam Eastwood Community Venue on Warsop's Church Street from 7pm on Saturday 12th November. There will be live music, games, hot food and a firework display. Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
WILFORD
The annual Wilford Rotary Fireworks will be held at Nottingham Moderns Rugby Ground, Wilford Village, on Saturday November 5th. Click here for more information.

“Nottingham Aspley Salvation Army are holding a firework display at their allotment on 5th November 2011. Gates open at 6:45, Bonfire lighting is at 7:00 with firework display at 7:30.
Refreshments including hotdogs, mushy peas and soup will be on sale.
Free Entry - all are welcome.

“Henry Whipple Primary School in Bestwood are holding a fireworks display for the community, organised by the Parents Council on Thursday 3rd November 2011, 6 till 8 pm. there will be 2 displays and hot food and refreshments will be on sale throughout the event as well as a coconut shy, tombola, cake and cookies, Henry's Cafe, sweet stall etc etc.
