A body found in Butterley Reservoir has been identified as a local woman, Derbyshire Police have said.

Police were called to the reservoir in Butterley Hill on November 19.

On Tuesday evening, a local woman contacted police to say that her sister, who fitted the description, was missing.

A formal identification is to take place later today and enquiries are continuing into how the woman ended up in the reservoir.
