Billy Davies hopes video evidence will maintain form
BILLY Davies has spent four days of the international break compiling a DVD he hopes will help maintain Nottingham Forest's run of form.
The Scot frequently uses video footage to educate his players on the good and bad points of their performances.

And he has spent hours producing another DVD on his home editing suite, which he hopes will help the Reds extend their run of three wins when table-topping Newcastle visit the City Ground on Saturday.
"I do it all the time. I spend a lot of time analysing and assessing not just our own team but the teams we have played against," he said.
"I like to look at the set-plays they have worked on and the tactical changes they have made.
"I haven't done any training, I just went and bought the video editing suite.
"It is very time consuming, but it is worthwhile."
Davies says the idea is to make sure Forest are always as prepared as possible.
"We do lots of different things, we just do what we can," he said. "We would like to think we are hard-working, organised and disciplined. But there is no right and wrong in football, it is all only opinion."
Forest striker Robert Earnshaw faces a month out of action with a calf injury.

“You have to laugh, in a sheer moment of madness I decided to have a look at the sheeps website. a mistake i know, and i will be publically flogged in slab square , but i did. anyway the point of the matter is on there they are claining that when Peter shilton was playing for them, after he had won his european champions, medals, and league cup medals and Div one cham medals , that by the time he had signed for them he was about to have his best years ahead of him and was the best keeper in England and the world. Bleedin ell the webmaster there tells more fiction than any NEP reporter”

“I can't honestly believe what I'm reading on here. Fickle? Theatre of Morons? Hands up cos that's us. How can anyone question Peter Taylor's contribution to all those great times? Maybe some of you aren't old enough to remember, but that doesn't give you an excuse to sh@t on the history. The club is its fans. The club is its history. Full stop. I like to read different opinions on here, even from sheep, if they're not mindless, but some of the sheer and utter disrespectful w@nk people are posting about this is incredible. I'd suspect it of being sheep, but even they wouldn't stoop so low.”

“Big clubs like Forest & Newcastle have a lot of fans who go to away games unlike your club. Less than 400 at Cardiff? That's pathetic support. But there again you've never taken many away have you?”

He does have a point about the clubs handling of the PT situation and it was on BBC 1 so hardly just for local consumption.”

“Hey Red Kev from Top Valley we all know you're not a Forest fan. Don't know why you bother posting such rubbish. Go back to your grass munchers site. We don't hate Peter Taylor and never have. We might have questioned his judgement in going to the sheep after he retired. But hate campaign? Grow up mate.”
