Tennis: Plumtree teenager Luke Bambridge reached the second round of the Australian Junior Open. The 17-year-old beat German Daniel Masur in straight sets, 6-0, 7-6(8), in the first round, but then lost to fourth seed Kaichi Uchida, of Japan, 6-4, 7-6(8).
