BREAKING: HSBC Arnold attempted armed robbery - Fourth person arrested
A fourth arrest has been made in connection with an attempted armed robbery at an Arnold bank.
The 25-year-old man joins two men, aged 32 and 24, and a 57-year-old woman who were arrested on Friday (11 January 2013) on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

All have now been bailed pending further enquiries.
Three people in masks entered the HSBC branch in Front Street at about 10.55am on Thursday, January 10.

They threatened staff with a suspected handgun and demanded cash, before fleeing empty-handed in what is believed to have been a Volkswagen Golf car.
There were a number of customers in the bank at the time of the incident. Although shaken by the ordeal, no one was injured.
