Attempted murder arrest after shots fired in Basford
A 24-YEAR-OLD has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on bail after gunshots were fired in Basford.
Police were called to Sandon Street at 3.37pm Mondayafter the shots were reported.
It is not believed anyone was injured, but police examined the area and confirmed a gun had been fired.
The 24-year-old man, who was arrested on Tuesday, was released on bail today pending further enquiries.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of possessing a firearm and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
A 17-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were also arrested on Monday in connection with the incident but were released without charge.
