Attempted armed robbery in Arnold

This is Nottingham

TWO men, one armed with a handgun, tried to rob a Tesco Express in Howbeck Road, Arnold, yesterday.

The pair struck at about 12.30pm but left empty handed. One wore a black boiler suit and the other wore a light grey hooded top.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Notts police on 0300 300 9999, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

    “Yep, The police helicopter was up over Killisick yesterday, again, following the robbery outside the post office 2 weeks ago. How much does it cost to put the helicopter up fuelled, manned and maintained for an hour? £3k?
    Another taxpayer expense these no good thieving scumbags get away with without figuring in the cost of their crime when caught. It's high time the true absolute cost of each crime was made known at the trials of these scrotes.”
