Attack man has skull rebuilt
THE victim of a horrific attack has had an operation to have his skull rebuilt with a titanium plate.
Eddie Fletcher, 37, was set upon just 500 yards from his home in Shirebrook, near Mansfield, while walking a friend home.

His injuries were so severe he spent four months in hospital and is unable to use his left leg and hand.
Part of his skull had to be removed in a previous operation.
Mr Fletcher, a father of three, was attacked in January at the junction of Market Street and King Edward Street.
