Apprentice Chris is 'a true inspiration'
A NEW College Nottingham apprentice and former soldier has narrowly missed out on an award.
Chris Howarth had been shortlisted for the Advanced Apprentice of the Year Award by The Hospitality Guild.
It came after he completed his patisserie and confectionary advanced apprenticeship at Langar Hall in September.
Winners were revealed at a Parliamentary reception held by Skills Minister Matthew Hancock at the House of Commons on Thursday.
