A 12-month clinical trial confirmed benefits
Previously, customers flocked to buy the company's No 7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum after its reported benefits were highlighted in BBC's Horizon programme.
The new results, revealed in the British Journal of Dermatology on Tuesday, showed that the No 7 Intense Serum improved skin structure and facial wrinkles when used over a 12-month period.
Boots skincare scientific adviser Stewart Long said: "To our knowledge this is the first time such benefits have been reported for a non-prescription cosmetic anti-ageing product."
No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum is priced £19.75 for 30ml.

“I think it would be better to not smoke ,instead of wasting money on this stuff, if you want to stay young looking. The woman, who smoke for a long time, always look a lot older than non smokers.”

“it will help the skin look healthier but it wont help wrinkles as wrinkles are caused by the elasticity in your skin snapping like an elastic band! that is why people have to have face lifts, no cream or serum is gonna give you younger looking skin again! once the elasticity in your skin has snapped it will form wrinkles you cannot go against that as that is part of growing old so y cant people just accept that?”
