ANGLERS in Notts are being asked to take part in a national survey to gain £1.5m funding for the sport.

If 1,000 anglers register for a Sport England survey, the Angling Trust is set to receive £1.56m from Sport England.

Mark Lloyd, Chief Executive of the Angling Trust said: "This is an opportunity for anglers to have their say about their experience when they go fishing.

"The results will help guide our work over the next few years and will affect future funding decisions from Sport England for angling."
