Just about everything Emmylou does is worth a listen – her 2008 album All I Intended To Be probably received less than its due.

Now she has released a dozen duets with Rodney Crowell, who belonged to her Hot Band nearly forty years ago.

Crowell is not exactly Gram Parsons, let alone Johnny Cash, but this partnership was made in some anteroom to a country heaven.

Produced by Harris's long-time collaborator Brian Ahern, the album features a mixture of standards, lesser-known songs – such as Spanish Dancer – and pieces by Crowell.
