Album review: Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell - Old Yellow Moon
Just about everything Emmylou does is worth a listen – her 2008 album All I Intended To Be probably received less than its due.
Now she has released a dozen duets with Rodney Crowell, who belonged to her Hot Band nearly forty years ago.

Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell - Old Yellow Moon
Crowell is not exactly Gram Parsons, let alone Johnny Cash, but this partnership was made in some anteroom to a country heaven.
Produced by Harris's long-time collaborator Brian Ahern, the album features a mixture of standards, lesser-known songs – such as Spanish Dancer – and pieces by Crowell.
