A FORMER cadet at the Air Training Corps 1300 Squadron in Sutton-in-Ashfield is embarking on a Royal Air Force career.

Flight Sergeant Luke Gamble is set to begin training as a general technician at RAF St Athan in Glamorgan.

He has completed six weeks basic training at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire.
