Action comes to life out of my living room
IN this world of readily-available massive screen HD TVs, you'd think there's little room for improvement.
You'd soon realise you're wrong when you sit down to play a video game in a cinema though – its room-sized screen and huge surround sound speakers transforming the experience into something far more immersive.
This special set-up is every gamer's dream (until Virtual Reality makes its long overdue comeback).
The huge screen and PA system brings the games to life – from the deep rumble of a car's engine in Forza: Horizon to the multi-sensory delights of Child of Eden, there's no frame to the action – it feels like it's all around you.

Cinematic games come to life, while others benefit from the simple prospect of just being a lot bigger – if you've come with a bunch of mates then splitting the screen four ways for a multi-player match no longer becomes a game of who can squint the longest, allowing everyone enough space to get their frag-on unhindered.
I've shot Spartans, fought Street Fighters and raced karts on the big screen, and it's something I'd highly recommend you do too.
There's also no better place for an epic 16-player game of Bomberman.

“The term "Get a life" springs to mind. Playing games is for children, living and improving your life is for adults.”

“or,simply try playing COD 3 MW on an Xbox 360s and a 37" HD Widescreen tv in a 9x6 room, much the same and all your own!”
