A PENSIONER jailed after repeatedly threatening and abusing his neighbours has appeared in court.

Grenville Anscombe, 73, of Farndale Drive, Wollaton, was remanded in custody in July after breaching an injunction taken out against him following a series of threats, insults and racial abuse.

Sentencing was adjourned and he will now be sentenced on September 8 at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.

Anscombe could face a maximum prison sentence of two years.
