A MAN from Nottingham who absconded from prison last week has been arrested.

Jonathan Dawson, 31, left North Sea Camp Open Prison at Freiston, near Boston, Lincolnshire, on Friday.

He was one of three to have absconded and is now one of two to have been arrested.

He was arrested in Lincoln on Tuesday and has been charged with escaping from lawful custody, along with Frederick Gray, 31, from Lincoln. Edward Braime, 39, from Devon, is still at large.

Police say he should not be approached. Police have appealed for anyone with information on Braime's whereabouts to contact them.
