11 fines for drivers using bus lane in Beeston
ELEVEN fines were issued to drivers illegally using a bus lane during a police operation yesterday.
Officers in Beeston targeted offenders in Derby Road between 7.40am and 9.15am.

In that time 11 fixed-penalty tickets were issued to drivers.
A Notts Police spokesman said the operation was a success but they would not continue it on a regular basis.

He added: "We will continue to run these operations in the future but unfortunately we cannot spend every day in this location. This is due to operational needs.
"But rest assured that we are doing our best to drive down the current problem we have regarding the bus lane use on Derby Road in Beeston."
